Chomsky’s take on the argument that forcing a failed floor vote on m4a would show us where members of congress stand by getting them on the record:

“All this requires on the ground education and organizing to withstand the avalanche of propaganda that’s going to come . . . So yes, it’s a good idea, but you have to find the kinds of tactical methods that will in fact achieve the goal. Not just dig the problem in deeper.”
