What has the Platform Team ever done for us?
Continuous Integration?
What? Oh yeah, yeah, they did give us that. That& #39;s true, yeah.
Maintain a test framework?
Oh yeah, testing, remember what the code used to be like?
Yeah, alright, I& #39;ll grant you CI and testing are two things the Platform Team has done!
And Kubernetes!
Yeah, well, obviously Kubernetes, I mean Kubernetes goes without saying, doesn& #39;t it?
But apart from Continuous Integration, testing, and Kubernetes -
& #39;Automated Infrastructure Provisioning& #39;?
Networking? GitOps?
Yeah, yeah, alright, fair enough -
Dealing with Security and Audit?
Yeah, that& #39;s something we& #39;d really miss if the Platform Team weren& #39;t there!
Shared tooling? And we can track who changed what and when now, Reg!
Yeah, they certainly know how to keep track of things! Let& #39;s face it, they& #39;re the only ones that could in a place like this! Haha!
Alright, but apart from Continuous Integration, maintaining a test framework, Kubernetes, automated infrastructure provisioning, dealing with sec and audit, , networking, GitOps, maintaining shared tools, and change control...
What have the platform team ever done for us?
Improved efficiency?
Ugh, efficiency. Shut up!
