The cosplay community needs to do a better job with protecting minors from pedophiles. When I first started cosplay I used to attract so many of them because I looked mature for my age. And even after telling them I was a minor they still tried to hook up with me sway me.

Even a fucking dude in the police force was trying to hook up with me at 16/17. And at the time I didn't know any better and thought it was cute and wanted attention. So many people around me did so little to stop what was happening.

No one approached any of these men even with screenshots and knowing their intentions.
