Listen up kiddies, I'm about to lay down some truth.

Here's the thing, life is fucking hard. Not just difficult, it's climb Mount Everest without the proper equipment hard. There are going to be great moments, yes, but the first 3rd of your life can feel impossible at times.
This is normal. Here's a pro tip....take some mf-ng advice from people who have gone thru it!! If you're parent, neighbor, drinking buddy, sibling, etc has something that you want, instead of coveting it or demanding they help you pay for the same for you
(I'm looking at you "free everything" crowd) ask them what they had to do to get theirs. Find out the steps then do it for yourself. Spoiler alert...it almost ALWAYS involves effort & sacrifice! If you're pissy that your boss drives a 2020 Raptor while you drive a '87 civic....
ask them what it took to start their business. How did they get financing, how many hours a week do they have to work, what other hoops have they jumped thru? If your neighbor paid her student loan, ask her how she figured her budget & pay attention to what worked & what didn't
If your parents own their house free & clear & can vacation each summer, ask them what they had to give up in the beginning to have that luxury now, and for fucks sake...PAY ATTENTION!
Here's a freebie....if you need to make loan payments & money is tight....YOU DON'T NEED CABLE OR SATELLIGHT TV! You also don't need an unlimited data plan. Trust me, managing your minutes has never, ever been a cause of death.
Ever single person you ask will tell you....READ, READ, READ. Read the fucking contract, loan agreement, service agreement, lease, loan, etc. Again, ASK a person who has what you want. They will happily tell you how because it's a source of personal pride.
I know, I know, taking advice from parents is almost a fate worse than death; but wouldn't that be a whole lot better than hearing the "I told you so" when you completely blew off their tips and screwed up?
So stop whining like a bunch of toddlers about how "unfair" and "hard' everything is and start listening to the instructions. If you hurry & start now YOU can be giving advice to your peers about how to get that cushy job w/benefits instead of picketing for $15 @ McDonald's
