Some games have only been kept playable and remembered because of the efforts of modders, long after the IP holder doesn& #39;t care anymore.

I am so absolutely fucking sick of people taking everything positive in the industry and finding a way to twist it into a problem so they can get some attention and pretend to be critical-minded and concerned about gaming as a medium.

I& #39;ll go back to your regularly scheduled irreverent shitposting now, but ffs... modding is possibly the purest form of genuine enthusiasm and love for games that we have, and it does immense good for players and for the games being modded.
