This is a real life biome appreciation thread

Once per day (or as often as I feel like) I will shout out a biome, maybe an unappreciated one, that I think deserves some love
Tropical dry forests! Tropical forests with long dry seasons, they’re warm year-round, typically filled with deciduous trees (not always!) and has a thick underbrush. Compared to rainforests, animal species are typically less diverse, but large mammals are more prominent
Pictured locations:
1. Chacachacare, Trinidad and Tobago
2. Daudere, Lautem, East Timor
3. Guanacaste, Costa Rica
4. South Deccan Plateau, India
