Notes from the podcast with @naval and @KapilGuptaMD :

1) Prescriptive "How-to" advice rarely works. It might work for the basics of a field, but the greatest players always forge thier own path. Get inspired, but don't blindly follow.
2) The things that we are the greatest at, are that which we know not how we do them, since we are not consciously thinking of how we are doing it. The path of success is filled with non-linearity and uncertainty that needs to be dealt with in the journey.
3) The root cause of all suffering is the mind. True freedom, is freedom from the mind. If freedom leads to desire for more freedom, it's not true freedom.
4) Most external "stress-creating" circumstances are manifestations of internal circumstances. External circumstances don't cause pain, it merely reveals them.
5) The solution to any problem lies deep in the problem. The sharper your definition of the problem, you'll understand the problem better and be better suited to solve it. Anything other "faster" solution solves one problem but creates another.
6) The test of whether you have solved a problem is if you've forgotten about it. Something that @prvkhvr also talks a lot about.
7) Environmental design is the most determining factor on affecting one's mind. You become that what you are most consistently exposed to. Be ruthlessly specific on who and what you want in your environment.
