Sex therapy (going to see a therapist to discuss your sexual hangups and concerns) and paying for sex (hiring a sex worker) are not the same thing, and should not be conflated.

Paying for sex is not therapy. Your therapist fucking you would be absolutely crossing boundaries.
Having sex with someone is not a form of therapy. When you pay a sex worker, you're paying for sex - we're not licensed to provide some kind of sexual healing. The relationship you have with a sex worker isn't genuine intimacy, either.
You might be able to get over some hang-ups by seeing a sex worker, but that's the same as you being able to get over some sexual hang-ups via one night stands. It's on you to do that work, we're not providers of it. Escorts are just selling sex, not mental health help.
