2nd @Covid19 wave in India is >5 times faster than the 1st wave:
-Average Doubling rate of new cases perday at Peak of 1st wave was 52 days. Today it is just 10 days
-Avg doubling rate for USA & UK was 30 days for 2nd peak. Much slower than us
Indicates V R in much worse state

In previous wave even at peak number of deaths per day didn't exceed 1300. Today, we recorded 1338 deaths. Certainly, we are looking at much worse state of affairs than before. Saying death rate is less is infructuous, every life matters.
URGENT ACTION REQUIRED ON ALL FRONTS

@Covid19 situation is alarming, possibly calamitous, since India already has almost 18% active cases compared to 1st peak and we have evaluated hospital beds & medicines.

R'=(10DMA of Recovered Cases per day ÷ 10DMA of New Cases per day) *100
(10DMA is 10 Day Moving Average)
R' a measure of how fast recoveries are taking place vis-a-vis new cases. Analytical comment follows

@Covid19 R' (Recovery Rate) of >100 is indicates reducing Active Cases/downward slope in no. of cases. Since 27 October 20, when R' was highest at 133.6, it has steadily reduced to 50.36 on 14 April, indicating that avrg no. of daily infections are twice cases recovered per day.

@Covid19 In this scenario we saw recent callous political gatherings & religious frenzy. I've no doubt we are heading for serious trouble in coming weeks & months as virus fury is unleashed. I'm hoping against hope that our leaders, administration, hospitals, pharma & vaccine...

producing companies & logistic chains put every effort behind countering #Covid19. I fully supported @narendramodi last year for lock down. But, this year's action has been disappointing. Wishing he will highest priority to overcome unfolding tragedy. I've faith in his capability

There may be a few errors in data (though immaterial to overall conclusions) that I'will correct in coming days. Errors regretted, they have crept in because whole data was compiled in two days.
