This deserves a response. Lately, people have been asking me this question.

Why am I revealing facts which could create animosity among Indic religions?

Answer:

I am NOT.

I havent uttered a word on Buddhism UNTIL they posted a fake picture showing Hindus attacking Buddha
I am all for "Indic unity". But I am of belief that misconceptions regarding Hinduism's relation with Buddhism etc need to be addressed.

These were planted by same Nehruvian system. If we don't address them fearing a disruption of "unity", they remain and cause future tension
Yet, I only responded when they posted that picture and NOT until that point.

Most Hindus obliged & din't respond for the sake of "unity". But I also have a responsibility towards Hindu sampradayas. If I also din't respond like others, the falsehood would be passed off as truth
Likewise, I haven't responded till date to all the frivolous claims of persecution of Jinas at the hands of Hindus in India and conversion of Jina temples.

Despite the fact that these false claims are thrown around everyday.

But without any response, falsehood becomes truth
As much as I like "Indic unity", I am loyal to truth, primary sources and my Hindu sampradaya. Every false claim thrown at it will be answered with facts. Unity cannot come at the cost of false slander of Hinduism.

This is what our great Gurus and Shankaracharyas themselves did
It must be noted that even during Izlamic invasions, great acharyas and mahanubhavas like Vendanta Desika responded to attacks from anti vaidika cults.

It is not that they were intolerant. Not that they did not value "Indic unity". Just that they did not buy it at this cost
