Since I was told by my lawyer this week I legally cannot do much of anything to defend or protect myself against this harassment, Talib Kweli is still lying on, slandering and harassing me for talking about colorism. He has been since July 10, 2020. He HAS NOT STOPPED.
He went on SIRIUSXM radio on the Roxanne Shante show on March 1, 2021 lying saying I had people threatening his family and that I was attacking him, self victimizing himself and saying he was kicked off twitter for defending him. In reality, it is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE.
There is a LOT to go over. I have documented a lot of it/my harassment on here since the beginning. Iâll be making a YouTube video about it eventually since he has vowed to continue harassing me for the next 13 years.
He has slandered me by name on stage at a Dave Chappelle show in front of Erykah Badu, Mos Def and a crowd of about 150 people in Ohio on Sunday, July 26, 2020. He lied on me and told fans if they are a âreal fanâ of his they would go after me, giving them my twitter.
Talib Kweli has also slandered me by name and lied about our interaction on @lordjamar âs podcast, which was then uploaded onto both of their social medias, youtube, etc after he was banned from twitter for harassing me for a month and attempting to post my phone number.
Talib Kweli has also slandered me and spread misinformation about me during paid interviews with @hot1079atl, in which he lies about our encounter, victimizes himself, etc. he then uploaded a snippet of the video onto his Instagram on MARCH 4, 2021.
This has all happened AFTER he was banned from twitter for harassing me and doxxing me to his over 2 million followers, who continue to harass, stalk and virtually abuse me 300+ consecutive days later.
He has had his friends and or family members (from my knowledge) give him larger platforms to slander me, defame my character and spread misinformation about me. He has created SEVERAL hour long Instagram live videos saying untrue, horrific things about me. He has used almost EVERY single interview or podcast appearance he has done since July 10, 2020 as an opportunity to slander, stalk and harass me.

This is also not to mention his fans creating over 20 fake profiles impersonating my parents, threatening to kill my entire family, posting our address, etc. I am still receiving threats and harassment from his bot accounts on an HOURLY basis.
His fans also attempted to hack my stepmothers email and facebook, threatened to murder my family and I and threatened to have my parents fired from their jobs. All this over a very vague tweet about colorism I never mentioned a single personâs name in.
Kweli and his now ex wife both mentioned me on twitter referring to her as light skinned. I was never talking about him or anyone specifically. I was never attacking anyone. I am still being harassed almost a full YEAR later.
Since he lives in New York, I would have to sue him there. New York has little to no laws about cyber stalking, harassment, slander, etc. I was told by multiple lawyers my best chance will be to sue for defamation and purposeful infliction of emotional distress, but I would be
Considered a limited purpose public figure (or a well known person that engaged in a controversial conversation) because of my online following, and that the abuse Kweli has forced upon me will be seen as his opinion and hyperbole.
I blocked kweli on all social media pages 35 minutes after he began harassing me on july 10, 2020. He has still accessed me via fake pages.
He also continues to lie saying I âalign with nazis and white supremacistsâ and calling me (a dark skinned black woman half his age) a white supremacist for vaguely mentioning colorism. He continues to spread the EXTREMELY FALSE narrative that I âalign with the far rightâ.

Articles about the abuse I have been receiving have been published in Billboard, BET, Complex, baller alert, Huffington Post and many others. Unfortunately some of these have been written by his associates who have enabled his behavior and depicted my harassment as a debate.
It is not a debate. He has encouraged and cheered on his fans to threaten, stalk and harass me for HUNDREDS OF DAYS.
He has done all of this to promote his Patreon.
He and his fans have also gone after every single BLACK WOMAN that has attempted to defend me. They have stalked and harassed their families and attempted to leak peopleâs IP addresses.
