To celebrate Ramadan this year, I’m taking the time to actively look for games and other productions that do not blatantly slaughter, mock or fetishize Muslim lives

In the spirit of this holymonth, let me share a treat with you each day in this Twitter thread

To be honest, it wasn't easy to find works that satisfied those minimal decency rules. All the games re-enacting the genocide of people looking like & my family were especially hard to stomach.

Ramadan is about making efforts for positive change in and around you -- so I still did my best to focus on the games, and hidden gems that celebrate our diverse cultures and stories.

We make up 2 billions of your neighbours, so don't see this small list as exhaustive -- but rather as just a crumb of every beautiful thing that we could tell and do with you, if given more voice. Please do not hesitate to share it with your friends.
