[Thread]
In the summer of 2015 Leicester City have just miraculously survived relegation from the Premier League finishing the season in 14th place. They also just sold Cambiasso their best player to Olympiacos. The club despite survival the previous season were red hot favourites for
relegation and had 5000/1 chance at winning the league. On the 3rd of August the club announced the first signing of the Ranieri era:N’golo Kante for 5.6 million pounds from Caen. In his first and only season at Leicester they won Leicester’s first League title in their history.
After his title glory with Leicester he was being chased by many teams in the world but decided to move to Chelsea a team that just finished 10th in the league and sacked their greatest ever manager. In his first season he won the League title hovering up 30 wins
being the first team in PL history to do so. In his next two season he also won the 17/18 FA Cup and 18/19 Europa League. He also won the PFA Players’ player of the year award.
Let’s also take a look at his international carrer with France. His debut was in 2016 at Euro 2016. At the previous 3 tournaments France failed to make it out of the group stages 2 times and getting knocked out of the quarter-finals in 2014. In France’s first tournament with Kante
they reached the final eventually falling at the hands of Portugal. In Kante’s first World cup they also reached the final and this time they won it 4-2 against Croatia this being France’s first trophy in 15 years.Kante also made it into the Fifa FIFPro XI that year.
