bts songs and the deep messages behind them — an explanatory thread:

•— blood, sweat and tears: the song refers to youth's giving into temptation and losing their innocence in the process. They get so drunk into the urge of growing up they leave their conscience behind and are no longer the child who was unaware of the evilness of existence.

•— wab pt. 2: the song made as a strong answer to all the haters, bts sang about the struggles they had pre- debut and after debut. How they had to sing, dance, practice till their last breath, sleep wasn't even an option while most of the youths were enjoying their life.

•— house of cards: while being wrongly interpreted by most, this song actually talks about a fragile relationship. they sing how the relation is falling apart, still they can't get out of it. even if it hurts, they ask the other to stay like this even a little more.

•— butterfly: here 'butterfly' is a metaphor of something or someone beloved, something very fragile. they want to protect it, save it from breaking apart, from leaving from their life. the precious one is so beautiful, it feels like a dream that will break anytime.

•— 134340: in the solar system,134340 is the code for pluto, the lone planet. this song sings how a person feels left out even among the people they think as their own. how pluto keeps orbiting around sun, they also keep loving the person, but are never accepted by them.

•— don't leave me: a single from their Japanese album face yourself, they tell us to never give up. we are not alone, how they are always with us. bts believes that we can make it, we will make it. we are their hope and they will do anything to protect us from the scary darkness

•— 2! 3!: a song written by bts for their ARMYs, they console us it will get better, it will be okay. they don't tell it's gonna be perfect- perfection is just a lie, they just tell us to just breathe for a while and count to three. slowly it will be fine for sure.

•— boy with luv: translated as 'a poem for small things' for the Korean name of it, in this song they say they wanna know more about their ARMYs. They don't just wanna be limited being our idol, they wanna be our friend as well. they wish to know our every insignificant things.

•— anpanman : anpanman refers to a japanese cartoon about a not-so-typical superhero, who is also called 'red bean paste hero'. He doesn't have any superpowers, except for giving a piece of his face made out of red bean paste to people. bts tells us we may not be best but (...)

we should help people with whatever we can do. this also reflects of bts being ignored as they were from a small agency in past, still they didn't lose hope and did whatever they can to be what they are today.

•— moon: in the solo song of jin, he compares us ARMYs as his earth, and he is our moon revolving around us. from his pov we all shine so bright, he loves to stay by our side. we are all he sees, and he thinks do we think of him too? he is scared that we might leave (...)

seeing his scars, but still he wants to be by our side always. he says rather than saying anything, he will always stay protect us and become our light.
