As troublesome as "sapient" robots would be to classical liberal ideas of human rights, biological humans with engineered preferences would make robots seem simple

I'd shoot a robot in the head without hesitation, I don't care how neotenous they make it look, but an engineered human is still a human

Have to hope that God just withholds the capacity from us
