joking about hitler & nazi germany trivializes his horrific legacy. the Holocaust is a serious subject matter and even today there are Holocaust deniers, for whom jokes like this might "justify" to them that it was "not that bad"

other jewish POVs (also based on what I've seen):
making hitler & nazi germany jokes is not the same thing as making fun of the lives lost in the holocaust. there's nothing inherently anti-Semitic in just saying the word hitler or nazi, it depends on context.

by the way, members of the jewish community are not the only ones involved. non-jewish peoples with family members that lived under the nazi regime (and some who died under it) have also expressed their opinions and I hope we can lend them our understanding as well

these opinions are also split.

some (rightfully) don't want the cause of their family's trauma to be talked about so casually.

others think that as long as the punchline is hitler being a horrible person, it's fine. he deserves to be mocked.
