The impending lockdown this year is a lot more severe. But this time, we are better prepared.

We have built a strong volunteer network and have integrated technology into our distribution process through the hunger map project.

But the 1 thing that we need to meet the challenges of the current lockdown and to serve those in dire need of food, is funds.

Thank you for the enthusiastic response to our call for action against hunger! We have raised Rs 2.4 crore organically in 2 weeks

Your contribution towards our campaign enabled us to scale our operations further. Following are the updates:

*We are now delivering 14,000+ meals daily. This made it possible for us to serve 1,20,000+ meals in this year's relief operation

*Our first #community kitchen has been activated in Qureshi Nagar, Kurla led by a local women’s self-help group.

This is a sustainable alternative to conduct our operations. It creates a means of livelihoods for women locally.

*As we progress, we will focus on groceries. Our first batch of groceries are being distributed

We are preparing for the ongoing crisis and innovating our approach towards relief operations.

Our goal is to continuously sustain our operations and be agile enough to accommodate the uncertainties of the pandemic.

The local economy will take time to normalize which is the primary rationale behind extending our relief ops.

Considering the monsoon in Mumbai, we will focus on expanding the grocery drive. Cooked meals will be served to beneficiaries who do not have any cooking apparatus
