since most new stans have no idea about this i'm going to do a very painful thread of Robert Pattinson suffering the worst price of fame during the twilight years : paparazzi harassment
during the twilight years Rob was followed and harassed by paparazzi day and night. this video, like many others, is an example of how his life was on a daily basis during years
here Rob gets out of his car to tell them that they already have a million pictures and to please leave him alone. this time one of the paparazzi agrees and tells the other to back off and leave him alone. this is probably the only time they feel bad and listen to him
this is the worst one. Rob's followed during all day long while driving. He politely asks them to stop following a hundred times. they ignore him. at some point he is so desperate he even talks with two policemen who are there. they do nothing đź’”
fans didn't make the situation for him any easier. he was once hit by a taxi while running away from a large crowd heading to him.
these pics are from the filming of remember me in new york, fans would tug his hair & try to touch him when he was just trying to work
the situation so bad that he hired a bodyguard who would be with him at all times and protect him from paparazzi and disrespectful fans. Dean, remember him? The fandom loved him
just last year he admitted suffering from depression and said that he felt paranoid anytime he was outside because he was scared of people following him 🥺
he explained that the love and support of his family & receiving psychological help from a professional made things better
Robert Pattinson never stopped being respectful, polite and staying humble despite everything. He deserves his privacy and a safe and happy life đź–¤
next time you wonder why rob doesn't have any social network or why he values his privacy so much think about this.
