As a DMAK (Disciple Making Ambassador of the King) how do you practically “Love the Person in Front of You” on a day-to-day basis?
Here are five practical ways I have found to do just that.
Here are five practical ways I have found to do just that.
#1 You can listen to them and their story without judgement. There are many lonely people out there who just want somebody to listen to them without judging them.
#2 You can ask them if there is anything you can pray for them or their family about. Then actually offer to pray with right then and there. Don’t make a big production out of praying with them. Just pray with them.
If they don’t want you to pray with them then tell them you will pray for the later and you consider it a privilege to be able to pray for them.
#3 If there is way you can physically serve them and help with a need then do it. Yes, it may create an inconvenience in your schedule and may cost you some money. But do it anyway. You’re trying to love them as God loves them.
#4 Share Your Story with them. Your Story being what God has done in your life. I know we are getting spiritual here. That’s what being a DMAK is about - in case you hadn’t realized this yet.
#5 Share God’s Story with them. That is the Gospel. It is Good News you know. As you share the Gospel you are … Offering Them the Opportunity to Get Right with Their Creator
