so basically, st twt over the two years has been talking about this scene a lot because mike said, "It& #39;s not my fault you don& #39;t like girls!" to will and everybody either thinks the duffer brothers are hinting at something, or people are just reading too into it.
even though my opinion really doesn& #39;t matter i just made this thread to rant about this because it& #39;s been really annoying seeing people just fight over this scene all the fucking time.
anyways I think the duffer brothers worded what mike said for a reason. I& #39;m not specifically saying will is confirmed to be gay cause of this but this scene is very..? and it makes me think will might be gay a lot more, but this is not all what this scene is about.
will was so hurt by what mike said because he got bullied for being percieved as gay. his own father literally called him the f slur, which is why he was so shocked at what mike said. im not saying that mike meant to say it that way, but will definetly did not take it how mike+
meant it. mike isn& #39;t homophobic, he just worded it wrong. and will hearing mike, his best friend, who has been his best friend for the longest time, his best friend who he trusted the most out of all of his friends, saying that to him made him very hurt.
and again, the duffer brothers worded what mike said for a reason. If they actually meant it like will& #39;s maturity, they definetly would have worded it another way. plus, look at both of their faces after mike says it. mike immediately apologizes, saying he doesn& #39;t mean it like+
that, why would he say that if he didn& #39;t realize how he worded what he said to will could possibly hurt him. will looks hurt after what mike said, and it& #39;s understandable that he did look hurt.
this scene was not about this though, and a lot of people seem to forget that. It was also about will not being able to grow up because of his trauma, and then lashing out on his friends because of that.
ok y& #39;all get the point this thread is done
