Sorry, just urgh because I wanted to triple check what the key skips, and directions online were so vaguely written that I just went in the game myself and did that alt route backwards. I can confirm legging it past a Black Knight & Drakes is not as hilariously simple as one door

No matter how much research you do, or how carefully you word something, there will always be someone who wants to tell you what they know because they assumed you missed something/didn't listen to what you said, lol.
