The foreboding joy phenomenon is common. Not all of us experience it, but many do.

Like encountering a clearing that perhaps you’ve seen a 1000x but this time following it through to a beautiful vista—and wondering to yourselves has this been here this whole time? Yes, beloveds.
I’m intending this thread for queer folks, but really it’s for anyone—if you’ve had a series of things go right and that little voice in your head/heart tells you to wait for the other shoe to drop—talk back/tell that voice to kindly go away—because right now is for your joy.
