Upgrading Lebron’s FT Percentage: A Thread
Lebron James is known as one of the greatest players to ever play the game, but there is one part of his game that he hasn’t developed entirely. For this thread I will upgrade Lebron’s FT percentage 5% higher from each year and see how his scoring looks after it.
For 2003-04, Lebron took 5.8 FTA a game, making 75.4% of them. Now, we will add 5% onto that, now making him shooting 80.4% of them.

This season he shot 460 free throws, making 347. That number now changes to 370 made free throws.

He goes from 4.39 FT’s made, to 4.68 a game.
This upgrade now adds roughly 0.3 PPG, helping him average 21.2 PPG on the season.

This small jump boosts him from the 13th highest ppg to 12th, passing Carmelo Anthony.

This first season didn’t show many changes, but when adjusting for his career, it changes a lot.
