When we said “uplift Black voices” we didn’t mean for y’all to repeat what we say without giving us credit. A lot of y’all have just been repeating the words of Black people & not only is it performative, but it’s plagiarism.

And because people are more inclined to listen to white people (because of white supremacy) white people end up building platforms off of performative activism & stealing the work of Black people. It’s literally just white supremacy preserving itself. Stop doing it.

Also because you are white it’s very likely you’re getting things wrong & giving people bad information//steering them in the wrong direction. Once again: stop.
