What NBA team you should support based on your PL team (and vice-versa) *thread*
Arsenal - San Antonio Spurs

Both have won a respectable number of titles but have struggled a bit in recent times. Both have some great players (DeRozan, Auba) and a strong core behind them
Aston Villa - Portland TrailBlazers

Both teams heavily rely on one/two players to perform and carry them to the win. They also both are good opposition that could go far in a few years
Brighton - Houston Rockets

Both find themselves in the bottom part of the table but use interesting tactics (Houston’s ‘small ball’) and could have a great future
Burnley - Detroit Pistons

Both known for their rough style of play, this is a match made in heaven for the two.
Chelsea - La Clippers

Both teams have recently acquired some of the biggest names in their respected sports and are the 2nd biggest team in their location
Crystal Palace - Indiana Pacers

Both teams find themselves in the middle of the table most seasons and have/had stars that have moved on/likely will move on
Everton - New Orleans Pelicans

Both teams have improved massively with new players that came in and young stars improving and playing a vital part in this seasons success (Zion, DCL)
Fulham - Houston Rockets

Both teams sitting near the bottom of the table yet have improved as of late and picked a few results
Leeds - Charlotte Hornets

Both play nice ball and are extremely exciting to watch, with breakout young talents like Raphina and Lamelo
Leicester - OKC

Both teams achieved success in the last decade but have now gone on to lose a lot of their best talent and players. Both are well run franchises and have a good future ahead of them.
Liverpool - Lakers

Both won the winners medal last season and have dominated the leagues for ages. Also LeMickey has shares in Liverpool
Manchester City - Nets

This one is quite self explanatory, both teams have received huge investment and have spent it wisely, With both being the favourites to win their respective titles this season
Manchester United - Celtics

This one was quite obvious wasn’t it? Both have won the most amount of titles but are currently struggling to replicate past success
Newcastle - Sacramento Kings

Both teams are poorly run with young talents that are setting the league alight
Sheffield - Bulls

Depreshun
Southampton - Minnesota Timberwolves

Both teams have good youth structure but find themselves struggling at this time
Spurs - Milwaukee Bucks

Both are carried hard by a phenomenal player (Giannis, Kane) and their side part (Middleton, Son). Both haven’t had success in years they really should have and are now prone to losing their star player
West Brom - ???
West Ham - New York Knicks

Both find themselves in a great position for the quality of their team with two ‘meme’ players doing brilliant work this season
Wolves - Washington Wizards

Loyal players who live and die for the club (Beal, Jimenez). Both play decent ball but yet find themselves in the lower half of the table
*END OF THREAD*

Obviously this isn’t forcing you to support this team but i hope it gives a idea on what teams are similar to each other. If you are looking to get into either sport and don’t know what team to support, you should watch each team at least twice and then decide :)
