Today I'm excited to announce bi-directional linking in @notejoyapp, introducing a more organic way to organize notes and discover relationships between them /

For those unfamiliar with bi-directional linking, @balajis offered a one tweet summary of it's power here / 1 https://twitter.com/balajis/status/1307318284010758145
Creating note links in @notejoyapp is super fast. Just type [[ and you'll immediately start searching your notes. Then just pick from the auto-complete. / 2
You can also create new notes this way. Just type the [[ followed by the title of your new note and then select Create note from the auto-complete. / 3
At the bottom of every note, you'll now be able to easily browse all the backlinks that point to that note. You'll see the note titles as well as a snippet showcasing where the note link appears in the note. / 4
There are several great notes app that support bi-directional linking, but here is why we think you'll love Notejoy / 5
First, Notejoy is super fast! No loading spinners here. We achieve this by caching your notes on your client, using web sockets to get even more performance, and even storing a full search index of your notes locally. You won't feel like @CaseyNewton / 6 https://twitter.com/CaseyNewton/status/1374044402939662338
Second, Notejoy provides fantastic support for nested notebooks and nested tags in addition to bi-directional linking. Bi-directional linking is great, but we've found combining it with these additional organization methods unlocks even more possibilities / 7
Third, Notejoy's fantastic collaboration capabilities takes the power of bi-directional links beyond personal productivity to team collaboration, helping you discover relationships across your team's collective wisdom. / 8
Fourth, Notejoy has fantastic apps for Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android so you can access your notes everywhere you go / 9
We hope you'll check out @notejoyapp and it's support for bi-directional linking. Get all the details here / 10 https://notejoy.com/releases?id=294
