1) Avoid chewing gum on an empty stomach, but if you do, follow it with a glass of lukewarm water to prevent acid reflux and injury.

2) Never chew gum for more than 10 minutes.

5) If you eat fast (within 20 minutes) chewing gum right after the meal will help. It takes 20 minutes for our brains to realise we are full and some end up overeating. If you still feel hungry (and HAVE eaten a normal portion) follow this with a large glass of warm water.

Bonus tip because ily: chew whitening gum if you drink coffee a lot to reduce teeth staining. If you purge do NOT brush your teeth. Chew gum and if possible get an electrolyte filled energy drink.
