\\\\ 10 Reasons Why You Will Never Be Rich (Harsh Truths) //

A THREAD đŸ§”
1. You have a victim mindset

- “It's his or her fault I'm here”
- “I can't do it, it's impossible”
- “They got lucky, they are the 1%”
- “My family weren't rich, so how will I be”

It's tiring and self-fulfilling.

Mindset is everything!
2. You excessively indulge

-Credit Card Debt
-Overdraft Fees
-Financing Cars
-Designer Clothes

Trying to keep up with the Jones’ whilst they keep up with the Gates.

It's a vicious cycle and will never satiate you.
3. Your main focus is saving, not investing.

-The bank will give you 0.1% interest whilst they make 5% on your money.
-You're scared of the Stock Market or Index Funds.
-You think a “Savings Account” will ‘save’ you.
-Your money is worthless. This is fact.
4. Your content with your 9-5

Nassim Nicholas Taleb started:

“The three most harmful addictions are heroin carbohydrates and a monthly salary”.

- You can get sacked tomorrow
- You are not invaluable to your employer
- You need a side income
5. You not willing to step outside your comfort zone

- Use the hours after work to learn a new skill
- Network with new people using Twitter (I have done it personally)
-Take on new challenges that scare you
-Rich people take calculated risks
6. You don't have a plan.

“I want to be rich when I am older”

We have ALL said it.

But how are we getting there?

Without a plan, you aimlessly drift like a ship with no direction.

It should look like this;
-Budget expenses
-Cut unnecessary cost
-Invest
7. Bad Relationship with Money

-You think money is “evil” and you convince yourself that you are morally correct for thinking so.

-You think those who possess money have committed war crimes or something of that nature to gain wealth.
8. You listen to your parents too much

We all love our parents, they provided the best they could.

But, they want what is safe for you and not what is right.

-They believe in savings accounts
-They don't want you to take risks
-They believe in 9-5 mainly
9. You take advice from those who aren't rich

-You listen to your friends
-You listen to your family
-You listen to outsiders

If you listen to the advice of someone who isn't rich or successful themselves, what do you think your outcome will be?
10. You employ bad habits

-You wake up 1 pm
-You eat processed foods
-You complain
-You don't lift
-You don't meditate
-You don't go for a walk
-You procrastinate
-You consume porn and politics

The rich and successful do none of these, they oppose.
11. BONUS

To become rich, do the opposite of everything I just said.

- Develop a better mindset
- Employ good habits
- Learn from those who are rich
- Start networking
- Invest don't save
- Start a side hustle
- Budget and Cut Expenses
- Stay consistent
