1. Dean dying.
It was just so cliche, predictable, and unnecessary (not to mention TRAUMATIZING to watch). He really didn't have to die. I don't see why him AND Sam couldn't both live. I don't understand why one of them HAD to die. Dean deserved better.

2. Dean dying WHEN he did.
Dean dying the second he found a little bit of motivation to keep living sends a bad message to fans who struggle with mental health. Killing off suicidal characters is NOT the power move the SPN writers believe it to be.

3. Dean dying the WAY he did
Dean believing his entire life that he was gonna die on a hunt should have been the exact reason why he didn't die on a hunt. It was too fucking predictable. Having him die of old age would have been the REAL plot twist. THAT would have be shocking.

4. Dean's entire character being erased.
Dean is one of the most complex characters in all of television. The writers reducing him down to some bimbo brother whose only interests are cars and pie was insulting. Truly insulting.

5. Character development
All character development was thrown out the god damn window. I felt like I was watching characters I didn't even know. Any development the brothers had over 15 years was erased.

Where was she?? Why bring her back and set up a storyline between her and Sam if you were just gonna write her out at the last minute and give Sam a random blurry wife?? If that was their plan all along then writing Eileen into this season was pointless. POINTLESS.

7. Cas barely being mentioned
He was the Winchesters' best friend for 12 years. Not to mention he is one of the main characters and has been very important to the show since s4. Writing him out like that and not allowing him to be in the SERIES finale was disrespectful. Period.

Oh but it did. It definitely did. That was a message many fans loved and related to and they threw it away. They tossed it into the garbage and ended the show with blood related family.

He had to watch his brother be brutally murdered and then had to live another 40ish years without Dean, Cas, Jack, Bobby, Eileen, and etc. He was NOT happy. He was miserable. Everyone he loved was dead. Sam deserved so much better.

10. Sam's wigs.
What the fuck was that...thats all I gotta say. What the fuck were those wigs?? And yes this is genuine criticism. Those wigs made me cringe they were so ugly. Looked like they got them at Party City.

They brought back a random vampire from season 1 that no one remembered nor cared about but they wouldn't bring back fan faves such as Cas or Jack. Not to mention they killed her after a few minutes. That whole thing was stupid and pointless.

John Winchester being in heaven is the most unrealistic thing to ever happen on this show. He fucking abused and neglected his children their entire lives and gave them severe trauma...he belongs in hell. He DESERVES hell.

I don't like how we didn't get to see her in the finale and I definitely do not like that they'd rather make Jack, a fucking 3 year old, God before they made a woman God.

The explanation for what they were doing was half assed. We deserved to know more. We deserved to SEE them and hear about what they were up to from their own mouths. Not Bobby's. They should have been there with Bobby to greet Dean in heaven as well.

15. Eileen 2.0
Eileen was the only disabled or hard of hearing rep on the show. She meant everything to a lot of disabled fans. But they wrote her off and treated her and her story like they didn't matter. That's so insulting to all the hard of hearing fans who looked up to her.

Where was everyone?? You mean to tell me NO ONE but his brother and his dog wanted to go to his funeral?? What about Jody, Donna, Garth and his family, Claire, Kaia, Patience, Alex, and all his other friends and family?? They deserved to be at his funeral.

Sam never got to say goodbye or reunite with his best friend. Cas and Sam were friends and they deserved to say goodbye to each other and to see each other again.

They barely grieved Cas. Cas was their best friend for over a decade and he sacrificed himself for the Winchesters time and time again. They loved him. It was SOOO out of character to have them talk about him ONE time for a few seconds.

The stupid covid excuse. They said that's why they couldn't bring back all the characters that mattered to the fans. But yet they brought in hundreds of random extras and actors for random vampires??? Doesn't make sense.

20. Unfinished storylines
So many storylines were left unfinished. Cas' failing powers, Ruby, Jack waking up everything in the Empty, and etc. We NEVER got an answer to those. If they cut out half the meaningless filler episodes this season they would have had enough time.

The finale was essentially used for a Jared/Walker promo without EXPLICITLY being a Jared/Walker promo. It was disrespectful to all the other actors and to the fans of the show.
