It is massively unfortunate that we need to completely redefine what money is in order to get people to have money. But revolutions are never clean and convenient.

The bright side is that we are paying it with cognitive dissonance instead of blood.

The existing world system is one of warring nations.

The idea of "globalization" is a lie. What we have is tribes with armies competing for resources and angling for weaknesses on their competitors.

Money is, today, a tribal construct. Each tribe wants to impose their "money" on the others: the power to decide whether the vassal tribes they subjugated have "funds" or not.

If you see the world system for what it actually is -- warring nations -- then you can appreciate how illogical it is to attempt to build an "Universal Basic Income" system on top of the social systems whose outcome is basically feudal warlording.

At most you will convince these systems to increase their internal coherence, so they can become more efficient in warring with the other nations.

And of course, the vassal states, the colonized states, will not be allowed any kind of public system, as history demonstrates.

Thus, it becomes necessary to establish a new planetary system of governance that bypasses and brings to heel the warring factions. One of the first steps, if not the first step, in establishing such a global governance system, is a democratic financial system.

The goal of such a system, whatever it is exactly, is to create a new legitimate money that is actually constructed to provide and to guarantee a planetary -- an actually "universal", in the sense of the actual human universe without artificial tribal borders -- Basic Income.

The participants in such a system are the people who are ready to stop enabling all this warlording, and want to contribute to what is going to displace it instead. It's everyone trapped into these stupid tribes, but would rather be participating on a planet.

After looking at all the alternatives, I have decided that it is simply impossible to not only depend on the money of these tribes to try to pay a planetary basic income, but also to try to implement their model of money.

A planetary money is going to be fundamentally different

People have been expressing what this money is since forever. Every local currency, every alternative currency, every credit system, every time bank, every cryptocurrency, is an attempt to try to build that new system.

However, the understanding of money that is embedded in these systems is incomplete. Like a folk interpretation of an imperial racist religion, they only partially subvert the meaning of the system. They carry over a lot of junk into them.

The less is present in your definition of what money is, the better. The simpler the concept, the more you can do with it.

To create a planetary money system that can mathematically guarantee a Basic Income for all, you need to let go of everything in the definition of money that gets in the way of that.

If you are really truly committed to fulfilling that vision, you must dare to be simple.

Our goal is to get rid of money. It is a transition tool. The quicker we get rid of it, the better. If you understand that it is meant to be a placeholder on the path of getting rid of this warring-world mentality, then you will be able to see it more clearly.

Local currencies are nonexistent in the moneyless world we are trying to reach as imperial currencies. They're all gone, eventually.

All this "finance" garbage is gone in the future. All of it. It's all ultimately nonsense. It exists temporarily.

I have written a piece on how this new monetary system can literally be the sum of all Crypto UBI currencies.

To build that system, all we have to do is create lots and lots of Crypto UBI currencies and constantly try to get them in the hands of people.

Creating *one* Crypto UBI system is a real technical and operational challenge. You can make it easier by reducing its scope -- trying to reach less people, giving less security guarantees, reducing usability, letting go of "price stability", etc.

But no matter what each Crypto UBI system attempts to do, the sum of them *is* one contender for a true Planetary Basic Income system.

Think about it.

Every Crypto UBI system is one system that attempts to pay some unconditional income to some people.

These people are ... actual people. It is not conditioned to belonging to a particular nation state.

It's everyone. It's actually universal. It does not discriminate.

And that is the only requisite that matters.

Because, as I explained at the top of this thread, the "UBI" of States will never, EVER, EVER be allowed in the neocolonies.

The neoliberal UBI is imperialist.
