i’m seeing a lot of (understandable) confusion from newer armys about bang bang con ‘21, so here’s an ongoing thread of answers to the questions i’ve seen asked most often~

• what is bang bang con?

a free streaming marathon of rare and/or previously paid for past @BTS_twt concerts and events!

it started in 2020 as something for armys to enjoy on what should have been the opening weekend of the map of the soul tour, and is continuing this year

• when is bang bang con ‘21?

this weekend! the stream will begin on april 17th at 3pm kst/7am bst/2am est/april 16th at 11pm pst

• where can i watch it?

on the bangtantv youtube channel

• do i have to pay to stream?

nope! it’s all for free~

• what’s the schedule?

– 2015 BTS live trilogy episode 1: BTS begins, at 3pm kst
– 2019 5th muster: magic shop in busan, at 5:40pm kst
– 2019 speak yourself world tour in são paulo, at 7:40pm kst

• how long will it last?

i’m estimating about 7 (lol) hours

• will there be a day 2?

not this time! last year’s bbc was 8 concerts over 2 days, but this year’s is 3 concerts in 1 day

• will a replay be available?

nope! since these concerts/events usually exist as paid content, being able to stream them free is a one time only thing

• what is muster?

a kind of mashup between a concert and a fanmeet, where performances are interspersed with fun VCRs/skits/game segments all on stage in front of armys

unlike regular concerts, the setlist often includes older/rarely performed songs (the 2019 one is iconic)

• is bang bang con ‘21 a new live concert/performance?

nope! this is a marathon of past concerts streamed for free on youtube

last year’s virtual concert to celebrate festa was called bang bang con: the live, which is where the confusion is coming from. but this is not that.

• do i have to watch the whole thing?

of course not! a lot of armys end up marathoning the whole thing, because experiencing these things together is so much fun, but watch however much you want or are able to. the most important thing is that everyone has a good time.
