@PeterNdegwa_ My phone was stolen on Friday 8PM.I called Safaricom at 8:15 to block all MPESA Transactions. Safaricom even confirmed that money was still intact. On Saturday morning i go to replace my simcard line and found that Ksh 44,000 was withdrawn at 9.31PM by the thief.
The thief even sent fuliza of Ksh 3,400. Mark you, my mpesa limit is Ksh 1,500. Imagine even after calling Safaricom to block MPESA Transactions they still didn’t act. Is this how Safaricom is treats their customers? Is it so hard to trace the thieves yet you have the technology?
@PeterNdegwa_ Is it so hard to block MPESA Transactions after a user asks yo to do so for the security of her money? I have been calling Safaricom since Friday and they are very rude and incompetent to me. I have been getting very different information ever since.
@PeterNdegwa_ @SafaricomPLC , i am now being told that someone called an hour later and unblocked my simcard! After i had explained word to word that my phone has been stolen and that they’re not supposed to authorize any transaction till i go personally to a Safaricom shop!
@Safaricom_Care @SafaricomPLC @PeterNdegwa_ , now all I’m getting is different messages from your people! Promised call backs that I’m yet to get. I need you to listen to my phone call and verify that i literally begged the rep not to authorize any transactions till i get to you
@Safaricom_Care @SafaricomPLC @PeterNdegwa_ this is so draining! We are in the middle of a pandemic and all i want is for you guys to take responsibility. THIS IS CLEARLY THEFT OF IDENTITY and it should be taken very seriously considering the fact that i took my time to call in!
