A thread to respond to Sadhguru& #39;s criticisms.
I won& #39;t go into details of criticism by ignorant people with vested interests, but some concerns are genuine and must be addressed.

When Sadhguru says Yoga is not Hindu, he is saying that you don& #39;t need to be a Hindu to do Yoga. It is not a ritual or custom. It is scientific.
He has NEVER denied the origins of Yoga as Hindu. He has, in fact, accepted them. Attaching proof from his website (2/6)

He has also given Rishi Patanjali the credit for Yoga as well, and calls him "The Father of Modern Yoga" in the following article:

#2 "Sadhguru has not read any scriptures"
If he hasn& #39;t, then how does he quote extensively from Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Vedas, and various Smritis?
He says that his knowledge isn& #39;t based on scriptures but on his own inner experiences.
