No matter how open minded and 'liberal' people like to appear it seems that there are some people who are accorded the same prejudice that is so riled against. There are some truths which can never be told regardless of the message of peace they bring... hostile environment is

something I know well. I take refuge in memories of friends who would have understood this situation as little as I do. I take refuge in generosities given and received which are beyond the imaginings of the prejudiced and I know that I can never speak the truth

Because some are so limited that they have to espouse the harmful elements in the environment making it ever more hostile - for both sides.
