Meanwhile- I pulled over a black college student recently who goes to school in Missoula, going home to his folks’ house. Truck was expired & he was speeding a bit.
I walked up to the window, told him my name & why I stopped him. I asked for license, reg & insurance. He handed..
..me his ID & insurance, but told me the reg was in the glove box.. and he had a gun on there.
Me: Ok... you planning on shooting me?
Him: NO... HELL NO!
M: Yeah, I figured that. Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it. Go ahead and grab the registration..
He laughed a bit..
..Fast forward to me walking back up after running his info..
M: Ok sir, here’s your stuff back.. registration is expired by a few months, so get that taken care of. Also make sure you keep it down below pace car speed, Ok?
H: Yes sir, I will
We said our mutual good evenings,..
.. I walked back to my rig & he left.
That’s it, that’s the story.. ticket or not that’s the way 99.9999% of interactions with cops and the public go. Sometimes drivers can be pricks, sometimes cops can be pricks, but my interaction and the millions like it don’t make news,..
..the proverbial one in a million does. Like the one in a million that got the vaccine & reinfected, a tiny amount makes news and is accepted as normal or common.
Sad but true fact: that young black male I stopped is a helluvalot more likely to be killed or injured by another..
..young black male than he is by me.. but apparently that storyline isn’t sexy enough to buy marxist BLM leaders their fourth house.

PS.. I really don’t GAF if you believe me or not. I know it happened (& not for the first time incidentally) and it’s illegal for me to prove it.
