I don't think people realize just how terrifying the current level of anti-trans hate and violence is.

The bills that are being passed right now in multiple U.S. states cut people off from medications they need to remain alive.

And I don't JUST mean that in the sense of people

becoming so despondent in the face of bigotry and dehumanization as to become suicidal (but fuck you if you were thinking that). I mean go cold turkey on some things trans people need and you can die of a sudden blood clot.

And there's one in the works to TAKE CHILDREN AWAY FROM

THEIR PARENTS if their parents... don't actively torture them.

I can't think of some past atrocity to compare that to. I mean, there's cases where people have ripped children out of their parents arms, or killed children, but the profound cruelty of giving parents a choice to

either abuse their own children until they kill themselves or have them taken away so someone else can do it is, I think, a brand new creative trick in the field of pure malevolent evil.

It's not supposed to be possible to even propose something that evil because that's supposed

to be the sort of thing you can't even talk about as a hypothetical without an angry mob beating your door down to remove you from power.

You know you're responsible for getting that angry, right? You, personally, the person reading this? And it's also your job to make sure that

everyone you can possibly reach is also aware of this monstrous evil so they can do their part in angrily if not violently opposing it?
