What we know so far : #COVID19
1. The fresh infections are mind-boggling. Govts hv a propensity to under report data - cause from day 1 - Modi controlled Godi media has used the metric to bad-mouth the State govts, especially, non-BJP govts that weren't fudging the numbers

So the actual numbers may be close to 5-6 lacs fresh infections per day.
2. It's showing. At hospitals, at crematoriums, at our homes. And, our friend's & neighbor's homes.
3. There hasn't been any significant addition to the health infrastructure. Not of the permanent nature.

4. Temporary #Covid_19 facilities were erected, but the motive was - corruption, favoritism etc. Across the States. There's no BJP/Congress difference in that space. Whoever is in power, has minted the pandemic.
5. GoI's virus surveillance and tracking mechanism has failed.

6. The messaging couldn't have been worse. The PM is doing rallies where he spouts loads of nonsense / abuses and crap. W/o even wearing a mask. From the beginning, he handled the messaging in a puerile and non-serious manner. Thali Bajaao. Taali Bajaao & Now Tika-Utsav. Disaster

7. The Health Minister has been found doing the following stuff :
a. Bad-mouthing Rahul Gandhi over his warnings and suggestions.
b. Promoting pseudo-science & quackery like Thug Baba's Coronil & homeopathy arsenic album pills as prophylactic
c. RTing PM's super-spreader rallies

8. The people at the helm of managing the pandemic have been pandering to humor of Modi. Remember that chap Lav Aggrwal & deliberate disinformation that he disseminated from bully pulpit. Then, the V K Paul graph that indicated ZERO fresh infections by May 2020 end.

9. No surprises that Lav hasn't faced any consequences for the disinformation which derailed the Covid-19 response. While Dr. V K Paul still heads the Task Force. We are a nation where accountability is neither demanded nor enforced. No wonder we are queuing up at crematoriums.

10. Less said the better about about the Modi controlled Godi media [that's 95% of the legacy MSM) - they fabricated Markaz stories, SSR story, Disha story -everything to divert the attention from administration's failures. Modi-Yogi types kept it under a leash of ad spend carrot

11. Who hasn't failed ? - health care workers, front line Doctors, nurses, Asha workers, hospital support staff & a tiny part of civil society. The part of civil society that helped migrants, helped patients, their families, ran community kitchens, medicines etc
