So you found out you& #39;re a racist, what now? https://twitter.com/TheAuthorGuy/status/1381792977555660804">https://twitter.com/TheAuthor...
Well, you very well made have made it this far thinking you weren& #39;t a racist, and the good news is, you don& #39;t have to be. You might have been born and raised in a culture of racism, or may have just formed opinions out of fear of "the other" but you are allowed to change.
But the whole point is you don& #39;t want anything to change? I get it. Things might be pretty good for you, or if not good, and least familiar, and even if they& #39;re shitty, their YOUR shitty, but all you have to change, is your mind.
Is it going to be painful, well of course. You& #39;ve got some shame and self-awareness to deal with, and that is not going to be easy, but that& #39;s part of having character, which is something you& #39;d like to think you have, right?
So take a look at it,look at some of your behavior and your attitudes, and change the ones that are wrong. It& #39;s not about being politically correct, or woke, it& #39;s basic right and wrong. It& #39;s basic Golden Rule stuff. Everything grows from treating everyone with kindness & respect.
And you were going to do that anyway, weren& #39;t you? In your heart, you know that& #39;s something you think was worthwhile. And you don& #39;t have to throw down with all your friends. The power of testimony is short, simple, "You know, Jim, I think my shit was racist and it was wrong."
