The thing with generational wealth is that it's not just the cash you inherit.

It's the ability to have a co-signer.
It's passively building your credit when you're still a child.
It's the financial knowledge your guardians teach you.
It's multi-generational connections.

The brilliance of the capitalist system is it's built to exclude people on a *systems level.*

They can claim equal opportunity for good PR. They don't need to discriminate against you individually because the system does it for them effectively on a much larger scale.

People without generational wealth privilege are blamed for not overcoming the system. (The few who do, often resort to survivor's guilt and bias and victim blaming).

I'm never going to stop talking about it because I want to leave this place better than I found it.
I've faced some really fucked systems these past few months and been afraid to talk about it because I know it puts me at risk.

But this problem extends beyond me and all my relative privileges. It is so much worst for so many other people. I won't stay mad. I'll stay fighting.
