1. When I was about 7, my dad taught me how to act if I got arrested. He was a person without ambiguity. He was also a police commissioner and knew that arrests are dangerous moments. Everyone plays a role in everyone going home. I looked at the video. Young black officer
2. was being civil but tipped the arrest without backup near him. The suspect was struggling just slightly and the arresting officer appeared to be communicating with him, I think he asked him to cooperate. Then he bolted. What followed was apparently an accidental shooting.
3. The officer who fired knew it was wrong. Why a young person would flee in that circumstance is unclear to me. I can imagine reasons but will wait to see what the investigation shows.

4. killing his passenger, nobody raised that Miami had rioted after the shooting until the Florida appeals court raised it on appeal sua sponte. (on it's own). So Offier Lozano got a retrial. Venue changed because Miami rioted. My brother retried the case and lost in Orlando.
5. It was the first felony case he ever lost. The next day John went on TV and implored the community to not riot. He said that they took the case away because Miami rioted. If people remained calm they could never do it again. Miami stayed peaceful and the era of
6. the 1980s Miami police shooting riots ended. Everyone might remember that tonight and in the coming days. If you riot, Chauvin may get a new trial. We need to address everything. But we can only solve our problems peacefully.
