ADVICE- good places to get name inspo include characters, city names, mythology, nature words, old newspapers/yearbooks for vintage names, OR your own family tree (if you like your family)!!
- try not to let friends and family ruin a name for you if they don’t like one. it is YOUR name. not theirs.
- look at the meanings of names you like!! most names have meanings and knowing them can make the name way cooler

- when considering names, try to imagine it on multiple genders!! names like elliott, noah, + jude are “masc” but they can be SUPER cool on fem ppl too! same goes other way around!! names like willow, jade, and hazel may be “fem” but they can totally work on masc people as well!!
- if you want to test out a name, go to starbucks or another coffee place and use that name instead of your current one, and see how it feels to have it called out!!
- practice writing names you like on paper!! sometimes certain names will feel more correct to write than others.

- it is ok to change your mind on a name. don’t force yourself to go by a name anymore if it doesn’t feel right. it might take time, but it’s SUCH a relief once you start introducing yourself as a name that you love and that you are proud of.
