Last year was known as 'Pramadi' Samvatsar. During 'Pramadi' Samvatsar, the subjects become lazy and there was an increase in the suffering of the people. Inflation also increased

This year according to Vikram Samvat 2078 will be known as 'Rakshasa'. Whereas in the calculation of the name according to Samvatsar, Anand Samvatsar comes after Pramadi and after it is Rakshasa Samvatsar.

The reason being that the current Samvatsar 2077, Pramadi', will not complete it's 1 year tenure & remain until Phalgun month. After this, the 'Anand'Samvatsar will remain till Vatsari Amavasya. Whereas the upcoming Samvatsar Samvat 2078 which will be named 'Rakshasa' .

This Samvatsar will start from Tuesday, April 13, 2021.
As per it's name, during 'Rakshasa'Samvatsar, diseases will increase , fear and demon tendency will be found in people. Sometimes the whole country may get affected by famine and infectious diseases.

Mars being the lord of this year will have its impact on people as lot of unrest will be seen in them
However, strong decisions will be taken by the government and this will help to negate its impact.
