I'm a fan of what I've started calling "harder data". Data that is harder than average to misrepresent, mis-filter, or game. As I mentioned in a thread about this over the weekend, one of the data sets that I routinely look at is this one — about the cryptocurrency markets:

Hm. I thought when I started this thread that I was going to make some comments about the current cryptocurrency market data, but now I've changed my mind. It's hard to know what to say about data sets like this. But check it out! :-)
