(1/) a friendly reminder to you all that Ramadan is starting this week! I will be making some temporary changes to my account and the kind of posts I make/expose myself too.

I know some prefer tagging nsfr with food/smut/etc but I’ll just say now I don’t really mind either way

(2/) for those unaware, Ramadan is the holy month in Islam where a lot of Muslims participate in fasting, prayer and a general alignment in spirituality. I consider myself moderately practicing in everyday life, but I always try to make more of an effort during this time of year

(3/) I will be trying to fast almost everyday for the next month, which means no food/water/medicine/etc from sunrise to sunset. I will personally say that I’m unaffected by people who post or talk about food but it varies by person. And I usually try not to complain outwardly

(4/) What’s more challenging being in fandom is abstaining from explicit/sexual content. I might be a little less of a horny rat for awhile but don’t let it stop you from doing your thang! I’ll be curating my online experience to reflect that
