Trump is 100% washed up. That's why it's so dangerous that the ratings-obsessed media keeps trying to find a way to breathe new life into his political corpse. It's equally dangerous that the media has convinced many of you that "vigilance" means obsessing over Trump's ghost.

Trump has absolutely no ability to stage a political comeback. None. Zero. You'd have to be a political idiot to think otherwise. But the media can find a way to bring him back into the game. Though only if you play along with this "anything can happen" bullshit narrative.

No, Trump can't magically make a comeback. His brain is rotting, he's half dead, he has no access to social media, even his donors think his occasional speeches are a joke, and he'll be in prison long before 2024. But some of you are just desperate to get him back in the game.

Some of you in the resistance are heartbroken that you no longer have Trump to kick around. You want him back in politics so you can feel rage again. But it's okay to let him go. You destroyed him. He's going to die in a prison cell. Stop being so sad that you beat him.

There are plenty other Republicans you can feel rage toward. They're making it easy for you, because they're horrible. You don't need to conspire with the media to try to gift Trump a comeback, so you can feel rage. Just transfer your rage to Republicans who are still relevant.

Or better yet, take a step back and reevaluate your addiction to outrage. It's not healthy.

You all got into political activism to defeat the bad guys. Some of you got addicted to outrage along the way, and you've lost your way because of it.

Outrage isn't the goal. Winning is.

So you can spend all day pretending that you're just being "vigilant" when you obsessively rage over Trump, and root for Trump to somehow make a comeback so you can feel even more rage toward him. But the rest of us know that you're just a rage junkie at this point.
