I continue to be exhausted by liberal "even after the vaccine, life will stay the same" takes.

Especially with the affect of moral hectoring. But even the "I'm so anxious that I won't change anything" from bluecheck/media libs...it's a bummer that you're feeling this way; you could consider keeping it to yourself!

I, personally, receive my second shot on 5/11/21. Two weeks after that, I will be visiting all my mutuals to give them chaste kisses on the cheek like St Paul instructed.

(And to be clear, I'm not suggesting "ignore CDC guidelines." I'm suggesting, rather, that I will follow CDC guidelines, and will not feel the need to live more restrictively than they recommend. If you have an underlying health condition, etc., your calculus might be different!)

(And furthermore, if you're in a community where the problem is people still not taking it seriously, etc., then this tweet isn't for you! It's speaking to a specific sort of hypochondriac-scolding liberalism that I've seen a worrying uptick of online in the last weeks...)
