Are you a diaspora Korean who is worried about what other Koreans might think of you as you try to reconnect with your language and culture? (Especially after reading last night's debacle?)

Well, here is a thread of encouragements from Koreans in Korea:
Are diaspora people not allowed to take an interest in their roots? What an awful thing to say... I'm a Korean in Korea and I do not agree with that person's words.
Please wear what you want and use the names you want and use the language you want! https://twitter.com/foxtail_75/status/1381552771803926528
Please let 2nd gen diaspora Koreans know that although we are physically far apart, our hearts will always be connected! https://twitter.com/foxtail_75/status/1381607558423707651
Personally I'm thankful that you guys are interested in Korean culture. Thank you for not forgetting your roots, for not forgetting us. We haven't forgotten you either. https://twitter.com/foxtail_75/status/1381610659838795781
Above cont:

Please do not listen to people like him. People in Korea do not agree with that person.

Sending you much love and support even though we're far away!

"I am cheering for you too! Fighting to every 2nd gen Korean who wear hanbok and is interested in Korean culture!" https://twitter.com/hRzI6MHVPFueLhP/status/1381612712082370561
"I actually think diaspora Koreans who have both a Korean and a Western identity are in a unique position to be able to help spread Korean culture and act as an intermediary in the Western world." https://twitter.com/SQAvLrcs9LjhM62/status/1381615611101339648
Above cont: "So I'm actively supporting and cheering on diaspora Koreans by sending them historical references via DM if they need it!"
"Do you know other 2nd gen Korean Twitter artists who draw art inspired by Korean culture? I would love to follow their work and send a lot of references their way!" https://twitter.com/SQAvLrcs9LjhM62/status/1381616410560921600
"We should be cheering on diaspora Koreans who take an interest in Korean history and culture because they are finding their own roots. Sending you love and support as as a proud Korean who has lived in America for a couple of years!!" https://twitter.com/quasibark/status/1381731242954096647
