Love Death + Robots never quite hit the mark for "Adult Animation" for me personally when all that meant to some of the other animated shorts was saying fuck every 4 lines but Zima Blue stood out and showed what maturity in animation can really do as an end result

It didn't need any violence gore sex or swears to get across that it was an adult animation and did so in its unique thought-provoking spin on the whole robots theme
