Buckle up people. Husband & his college roommates had a weekend away @DeepCreek (for my husband & one of the roommates it was 1st weekend away from kids in 2+ years)

Imagine their disappointment when they arrived to filthy hot tub & when sewage backed up into the yard and house

Literally, my husband stepped in poop in the yard.

Stepped in human Poop.

In the yard.

If that wasn't bad enough, it gets worse, @deepCreek

Sewage backed up into the house

IN THE HOUSE.

For the bulk of Sat the sewer company was there working on the open sewer

So instead of enjoying the majestic beauty of deep creek - they were stuck inside because of the stench.

Haven't gotten to the flies yet..

and @deepCreek 's response has been to offer to take $200 off a $1200 weekend rental

My husband stepped in human feces in the yard.

Poop backed up into the house.

They claim they remedied the situation. I guess by having an open manhole of sewage in the yard all weekend.

Saying "sorry for your inconvenience" isn't really an apology.

Claiming that the situation was remedied when
there were workers in the yard shoveling sewage for several hours over a 44 hour rental seems preposterous.
