We need that same level of abolitionism with guns. Yes, there are many responsible gun owners but we are choosing as a community of

Faith to not own guns, to stand in Solidarity with the victims of gun violence from any form: whether by the State, or by a neighbor, or by self.

We need our churches to take the lead and retrain our congregations that might doesn’t equal right.

We need to hold up new heroes. Ones who follow the example of Jesus, who forgave and healed the person who was coming to arrest him.

We our churches to show how that’s embodied
